Draco Sculpture - Reference

I've been working on this for several months and didn't finish it until a few days before.  I know Draco looks a bit wonky, but the way he was baked threw off his posture, unfortunately.  The clay got a bit warm before I put him in the oven, so the result caused him to have a more lop-sided standing position.  Even so, I'm happy with the result and I hope to make sculptures for most of my characters (mainly the ones whose species I have created) in the future, mostly Stephen or maybe Kira.  Idk yet.  I'm at the end of the barrel with clay so let's see if I can afford it!

I did my best with the anatomy, but I know it's not that awesome, sorry.  I was afraid to bulk him up anymore in case he might implode in the oven, since the instructions required that I don't pack on the clay too much or else it could cause all my hard work to amount to nothing.  As a result he doesn't look AS accurate as I pictured.  No matter; this is probably the most accurate image of Draco I can get, and if anybody wants to draw him then I suggest this to use as a reference.  And yes, he is toothless lol  Teeth are hard as fuck to get inside his snout, so I just poked holes to indicate that he, indeed, wasn't a complete ripoff of HTTYD.

I wanted to create a reference for him for the sake of being able to visualize him better, and draw him more accurately.  I know it's not perfect, but it was the best I could do.  I used super sculptey, with wires and newspaper for his skeleton.  He's really fucking delicate lol  I'm afraid to set him down in fear he might break.  His feet and hands were hard as fuck to make, as well as the most delicate out of the entire piece.  This is actually a redo of a sculpture I did of him last year, but the clay dried much too quickly and it ended up not being as detailed as I planned, hence why this exists.

Also: I realize that I can easily smooth out his skin through other techniques, but since this is only a REFERENCE, I didn't care much about how perfect and smooth the surface was.  Please don't bitch to me about that, because I know.  Thank you~
